TACOMA, Wash. - The Pacific Lutheran University women's swimming team turned in another strong dual meet performance on Saturday, downing Northwest Conference rival Lewis & Clark College 144-61 at the PLU Pool.

Danielle Booth won two individual events and was a member of the winning 400 yard medley relay team while fellow first year Victoria Nguyenle secured two event wins.

Booth prevailed in the 50 yard freestyle, clocking a time of 25.14 seconds before taking the 100 yard freestyle in 55.25. The freshman began the meet with a win in the 400 yard medley relay, joining forces with Luna Kim, Whitney Mundle, and Reese Ackman to clock a 4:14.32 in the event.

Nguyenle tallied victories in both the 200 yard individual medley (2:17.98) and the 200 yard breaststroke (2:29.87) while Erica Muller secured wins in both the 500 yard freestyle (5:28.69) and the 1,000 yard freestyle (11:09.65). Kim was the Lutes' eighth event winner, prevailing in the 200 yard backstroke (2:14.25).

"We were pleased to sweep the weekend," said Head Coach Matt Sellman. "We had some impressive swims but looked liked a team that hasn't yet found ourselves. I'm looking forward to learning from this weekend and getting a lot better."

Pacific Lutheran returns to the pool next Friday in Salem, Oregon, facing Willamette University at 6 p.m.
