PLU Women's Soccer Picked to Finish Seventh
In the preseason poll of Northwest Conference coaches, Pacific Lutheran has been picked to finish seventh in the nine-team league during the 2012 NWC season.
Puget Sound, in pursuit of its 11th consecutive NWC title, picked up six first-place votes and 66 points to lead the poll, followed by Linfield with three first-place votes and 63 points.
Pacific Lutheran tied for seventh with George Fox during the 2011 season. PLU women's soccer is now under the direction of first-year head coach Seth Spidahl, who looks to turn around a program that hasn't had a winning season since 2006.
