Coaches Say Lutes Will Finish Seventh

Jordan Daniels (24) will lead the Lutes.
Northwest Conference coaches have picked Pacific Lutheran to finish in seventh and have given Puget Sound a unanimous nod to win a record eighth straight NWC crown.
Puget Sound picked up all nine first place votes for a maximum of 90 points in the poll. The Loggers can break a tie with Willamette for most consecutive NWC titles in women's soccer. Willamette won or shared seven straight between 1993 and 1999, while Puget Sound has won or shared the last seven in a row.
Pacific Lutheran, led by honorable mention all-conference defender Jordan Daniels, received 29 total points in the poll. The Lutes finished in sixth place in the 2008 conference standings.
