Kelly Robinson, Head Coach

Kelly Robinson began coaching at Pacific Lutheran University in 2007 and is in her fourth year as women's basketball head coach. She led the Lutes to consecutive 14-11 records in her first two seasons.

A native of Casco, Wis., Robinson spent eight years as a college assistant coach, helping teams to three conference championships and one NCAA Elite Eight finish.

Robinson started her coaching career in 1999 as an assistant at University of Evansville. She moved back to her alma mater to become an assistant coach at University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, helping the Titans to two Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships (2001 and 2004). In 2005, Robinson moved to Ohio to became an assistant coach at Baldwin-Wallace College, where in two seasons the program won 46 and lost 12. In addition to coaching basketball, Robinson served as the Baldwin-Wallace women's golf head coach.

As a student-athlete at UW-Oshkosh, Robinson was team captain during the 1998-99 season. She played on the school's undefeated 1996 NCAA Division III national championship team, on conference championship squads in 1996, 1998 and 1999, and on four straight NCAA tournament teams that compiled an impressive cumulative 107-8 record.

Kelly married Michael Robinson in June 2009, and the couple resides in Puyallup.



Jamie Redd
Title:Assistant Coach

Jamie Redd, who set scoring records at the University of Washington before enjoying a three-year WNBA career with the Seattle Storm, is in her fourth season as a Pacific Lutheran assistant women's basketball coach since starting in 2007.

Redd graduated from Washington in 1999 and left as the school's all-time leading scorer with 2,027 points. At the time, she was only the seventh player in Pacific-10 Conference history to amass at least 2,000 career points. Redd led the Huskies in scoring all four years and was named first team All-Pac-10 three times. Redd was also named to the USA Basketball Women's Select Team following her junior season.

Off the hardwood, Redd was a four-year honor roll student and perpetual Scholar-Athlete of the Year at UW, an award recognizing Redd for her outstanding contributions in the classroom and on the court.

Following her storied college career, Redd played for three seasons with the Seattle Storm in the WNBA. She also played professionally for one year in Greece and one year in Israel.

In addition to coaching at Pacific Lutheran, Redd works as a corrections officer for the Washington State Department of Corrections. She also is athletic director for a non-profit organization called Game Time, which provides camps, clinics and motivational speaking for schools and youth organizations.
