PLU Places Fourth at NWC Relays
TACOMA - Whitworth won the team title and Pacific Lutheran finished fourth at the NWC Relays held Saturday at the University of Puget Sound pool.
Whitworth scored 93 points, followed by Puget Sound with 72, Linfield 46, PLU 41, Pacific 27, Lewis & Clark 25 and Whitworth 23.
Pacific Lutheran had a pair of second-place finishes during the meet. The women's team of Rachel Troutt, Jordan Wolfe and Jessie Klauder placed second in the 300-meter breaststroke relay with a time of 4:14.52. In the men's 300-meter medley relay, Rayan Carter, Alex Limoges and Gary Rempe clocked 3:17.88 to finish second.
The Lutes return to adction at 6 p.m. next Friday when they open their dual meet schedule against the host Puget Sound Loggers.
