College: Started 42 of the 43 games she played in during 2011 season...hit .330 with 38 hits and 29 runs...earned first team all-conference and third team all-region honors in 2011...in the 2010 season compiled a .273 batting average of .273 while starting 27 games.

High School: Twice named to the all-state team...named OAI Red West first team and honorable mention.

Personal: Parents are Gaile and Glenn Nitta...majoring in movement studies...chose to attend PLU because she "liked the school and wanted to play softball."
