PLU Plays Seattle U. in Saturday Exhibition Game

The 2009-10 Pacific Lutheran men's basketball team opens its season this Saturday night with an exhibition game against the Seattle University Redhawks. Game time has been moved up one hour to 7 p.m., and the contest will be played in Connolly Center on the Seattle U. campus.

The non-counting game against the NCAA Division I Redhawks will provide a significant challenge for the Division III Lutes. Pacific Lutheran returns four players who started at least half of the Lutes' games last year.

The Lutes officially open their 2009-10 season on Saturday, Nov. 21, when they travel to Portland, Ore., to face Concordia University. The team's first home game comes on Tuesday, Nov. 24, when Evergreen State comes to Olson Auditorium for a 7 p.m. contest.
