NWC Football Coaches Tab Lutes to Finish Fourth

Northwest Conference football coaches have picked Willamette to repeat as champions and have also selected Pacific Lutheran to place fourth in this year's NWC standings.

Willamette received a total of four first-place votes and 47 points while Linfield was picked first on three ballots and garnered 45 total points.

Pacific Lutheran, which welcomes back First Team All-NWC wide receiver Greg Ford, is fourth in the poll with 27 points. The Lutes will look to bounce back from a 3-6, 3-3 season in 2008.
