Another Honor for Crew's Kat Jenkins

The honors continue to roll in for Pacific Lutheran senior Kat Jenkins (Rochester, Minn. / Mayo HS).

Jenkins, who competed for Pacific Lutheran in Varsity 8, Varsity 4 and pairs, was selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 College Women's At-Large First Team. Jenkins, who graduated from Pacific Lutheran on Sunday, maintained a 3.87 grade point average while majoring in physics.

The At-Large team consists of a variety of sports not covered by other CoSIDA awards, and District 8 college division encompasses non-NCAA Division I institutions in western states including Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Hawaii and California.

Earlier, Jenkins was named a Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) second team All-American for the second straight year. In addition, Jenkins has also earned CRCA All-America Scholar-Athlete recognition for the third consecutive time.
