Eric Stanczyk is in his second full season as a Pacific Lutheran baseball assistant coach after helping out on a part-time basis during the 2011 season.
Stanczyk played his collegiate baseball for head coach Geoff Loomis at PLU from 2003-06. He had his best season as a senior when he led the Lutes with a .396 batting average, and that same year he earned academic all-district recognition.
He earned both his bachelors (political science and history, 2006) and master's degrees (education, 2007) from Pacific Lutheran University and currently teaches social studies and leadership at Washington High School. He currently is a WHS football coach and was a baseball coach at the school for three years before joining PLU last year.
