College: Appeared in 17 games for the Lutes in 2011...hit .206 in 34 at-bats...drove in three runs.

High School:  Two-time all-state selection in 2009 and 2010 (once first team and once second team)...second team all-league in basketball senior year at Timberline HS.

Personal:  Son of Joseph and Cindy Beal...chose PLU for the baseball program...most memorable athletic moment was "playing in Safeco Field at the state championships in 2009.
