No. 14 Lutes Head to California to Face Menlo
Pacific Lutheran will travel to Atherton, Calif., to face Menlo in a three-game non-conference series. The Lutes will play the Oaks in a doubleheader on Saturday before closing out the series on Sunday.

Pacific Lutheran moved up to No. 14 in the latest d3baseball.com Top 25 poll, released Tuesday. The Lutes earned 253 votes and are the only Northwest Conference team in the top 25.

Late-Inning Comebacks Key PLU Doubleheader Sweep
PARKLAND - Pacific Lutheran took advantage of timely hitting and some uncharacteristic defensive miscues to sweep George Fox in a doubleheader played Saturday at PLU Field. The Lutes won in the final inning of both games, 6-5 in the first game and 7-6 in ten innings in the nightcap.

Lutes Open NWC Play Hosting 2009 Co-Champ Bruins
Pacific Lutheran finished the 2009 season with a one-game playoff loss at George Fox that gave the Bruins the Northwest Conference NCAA regional playoff bid. PLU opens the 2010 conference slate hosting a three-game series against the team that split last season's NWC championship with the Lutes.

Ninth Inning Provides Different Results for PLU
McMINNVILLE, Ore. - Pacific Lutheran gave up the winning runs in the ninth inning of its first game on Sunday and then scored the winning run in the ninth inning of the second contest as it split two a pair of baseball games at the Jim Doran Auto Classic hosted by Linfield College.

McMINNVILLE, Ore. - Trey Watt threw a complete-game four-hitter and Brock Gates slugged his fifth homer of the season as Pacific Lutheran defeated the host Linfield Wildcats, 3-1, in the Saturday finale at the Jim Doran Auto Classic.
